I'm officially at 211. I think that puts me 4 pounds down from the start and 6 pounds away from my goal of 205. Stupid plateau!

I'm at 156 but for the life of me can't remember what my goal was. (ADD.) I'm 97% certain it was 154. I'm going to the doctor for blood work this afternoon; fingers crossed my vitamin D isn't still dangerously low.

You know what bugs me? I've lost 26 pounds since my first appointment with this doctor, and I've seen her three times since she told me I needed to get healthy and lose some weight and...nothing! No comments or anything! Argh.

My appointment went fairly well yesterday. Official medical weigh in was 157, and THIS time my doctor actually commented on it. I've been using the Lose It! application on my iPhone since April, and it tells me I've lost 27 pounds. My doctor said, "Let's talk about your weight. You've lost 20 pounds since March. What's up with that?" (She's so casual,I love it.)

So I told her that I'd just been eating better and doing pilates and yoga. She said, "You've lost a significant amount of weight and kept it off for almost a year. That's a huge deal. Keep it up. But add some aerobic to your workouts."

So I figure I should get back on the elliptical and/or start running again.

Either way, it was good to hear my doctor praise me for my progress. Oh, and she also said she wanted to check my thyroid. She asked about it several times, and wondered if anyone in my family had thyroid issues. Since I'm adopted,I don't really know, so she said she'd run a panel or two just to be safe. So that kind of freaked me out. The last thing I need is a thyroid problem!

134. Not much lost. Still, I'm well pleased because I weighed 145 in February and I've kept what I have lost, off. Let's hope it stays off through the holidays!
I appreciate this challenge because even though I didn't lose much weight having to weigh in and log it in public once a week made me more aware of what I was doing.
